The dimensions of the base do not match the original specifications. Specifically, it is longer but, more importantly, the diameter is smaller. This means that it does not thread into the socket properly. I had to squeeze the socket in order to install the bulb.
On the plus side, 1000Bulbs was the only supplier I found that stocked this item and the price was very reasonable.
