I purchased this style bulb for the 5 recessed light fixtures in my kitchen. The kitchen has high ceilings so it requires a lighting that is not just strong but that reaches to my counter tops. This bulb offers the family cook, me, the light I need for producing family meals, but, at the same time, is subdued enough to provide an inviting atmosphere.

I love the full spectrum light from this bulb. I work with fabrics and have to match colors and this is a great light - better that any other I have tried. The one negative is that it is a large bulb and will not fit in just any lamp. The quality of the light is worth getting a new lamp.

I was so happy to find the replacements for this product because I had been looking everywhere for it, not knowing where my ex had purchased them. Then a "light-bulb" moment hit me that he probably found them on-line tried 1000 bulbs...even though they weren't actually on view, I contacted them with the numbers on the bulb and sure enough they had them. They fit perfectly and give off the perfect amount of light needed. I can see no reason for them to be discontinued so don't even think about it.
