This rope light rectifier power cord is an essential accessory for your LED rope lights. This 6-foot high output rectifier cord increases run length up to 1100 feet and is for use with 1/2-inch, 2-wire 120 volt LED rope lights. The cord converts alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC) and is the only power cord approved for use with 120 volt LED rope lights.

One of these has been powering 900' of LED rope lights nightly for nearly 1 year (from the middle). It is outside in the weather, and temperature is fine. We bought a second unit as a spare, but haven't needed it.
