This FlexTec 6-foot universal rope light extension is a great accessory for any 1/2-inch, 2-wire rope light. Whatever the application or accessory you're trying to connect, this extension cord will make it work! With the supplied power connectors attached to both ends, this cord functions as a male to male extension. Remove one connector, and it transforms to a male to female extension. Remove both connectors, and the cord becomes a female to female extension.

Works as intended. Only slight problem is sometimes a section will break or 'burn out' from slight abuse. But this is from abuse (hammering, over bending, occasional staple) after all.
Overall seems quite durable, and looks great.

I purchased this item to spruce up the back yard with some accent lighting. Needless to say, after i found out how easy it was to install, I did a litle more than I was planning on. in a matter of two hours, i custom built 15 rope oights and had them installed and operating. Excellent look and the prefect accent.
