As a 1000bulbs.com customer of over 6 years, I never ordered the Reflector Trim as I thought it was too expensive. We use rope lights wrapped for Christmas candy canes around PVC, and for house trim around the eaves and in our AZ Room indoors.. We bought the anodized trim product recently to highlight small sections of the interior of an aluminum screen patio. The triple light reflection, the perfectly straight line of the lights gives a very professional and classy look to the portions of the room in which we used the product. The long spans where we used plastic clips on aluminum channels now looks curved and uneven so we will do three walls of the 8' by 38' room with the anodized trim. I used a small drill bit for the screw holes in the trim and a larger bit for the plastic sleeve and was careful to be sure the sleeve did not move between the drilling and it worked out. One wall has "I" beam and I laid the rope in the channel for indirect effects and that worked out nicely but on the interior walls the metal trim will be outstanding.

We used these strips to replace neon bars. With the rope light inside & the reflection capability, we are very pleased with the outcome. Neon signs are expensive to repair & get brittle with age - they didn't take our North Dakota hail storm very well. With the added feature of the bars' protection of the rope light, we expect to enjoy these on our theater marquee for years to come. When we complete the marquee repairs (i.e. light replacement) i will send a photo of the new look! We are also going to replace the letters with the flexi-clamp & the smaller circumference rope lights. Wish us well!
