This bulb works reasonably well. It could give off a little more light though. I'm not sure yet how long they last. As the bulb we were using is no longer available, we had to switch to this one and are now replacing older bulbs. Switching to this style of bulb has, however, cut our electricity bill almost in half from using halogen bulbs.

Have used this light both indoors and outdoors and was not impressed. Expensive for what you get in terms of light output. Slow to warm up to full output and casts a purplish hue until fully warmed up,

We changed every spot light in our furniture store over to this bulb. We have been very happy with the amount of light and the color of light that we are getting.
