Halco 6147 - Shatter Resistant - 60 Watt
A15 - 130 Volt - Appliance Light Bulb
When safety is a concern, shatter resistant light bulbs are the only option. These bulbs are silicone coated to prevent glass shards from contaminating food or creating other hazards. The Halco 6147 bulb is equipped with a heavy-duty 130 volt filament, allowing it to last longer when operated at 120 volts. Appliance light bulbs have specially reinforced filaments to prevent premature failure from frequent slamming of refrigerator or oven doors.

After searching for a small shatter resistant bulb for some time, it was a relief to find the product from 1000 Bulbs. With the Dept of health breathing down are necks in NYC, every detail counts. After discovering that we did not have a shatter resistant bulb in any of our reach in refrigerators, we realized that this was a potential problem. We needed a smaller than normal size bulb and couldn't find it in any local store. Should have known that 1000 Bulbs would have it, and at a great price.
