When safety is a concern, shatter resistant light bulbs are the only option. These bulbs are silicone coated to prevent glass shards from contaminating food or creating other hazards. The Precision Lighting 60ARS/TF bulb is equipped with a heavy-duty 130 volt filament, allowing it to last longer when operated at 120 volts. Rough service light bulbs like this one have multiple support filaments to prevent premature burnout from the constant movement and vibration encountered in commercial and industrial applications.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MGMorelli Product solves a need for a low wattage bulb in a customers work lamp.
The customer's work lamps are now lasting because of the change from a 75w to a 60w bulb. The lamp sockets were rated to be less than 75w. A 75w RS bulb would within a day melt down the socket. Problem is now solved by using this 60w version. We are looking to order 360 more units. Can we make a such quantity purchase?
