It features a multi-purpose base for slip-on or screw terminal connections, as well as a fire-sealed lens to protect the lamp from premature failure due to weather conditions in outdoor applications. Rated for a 5,000-hour life, this PAR36 lamp has a center beam candlepower of 1,000 and 32-degree beam angle, making it perfect for landscape lighting, billboards, pools, and a variety of other specialized uses.

Use these to replace old bulbs on my VN800 and the difference was amazing. I can see and be seen at night much easier than before. Just keep in mind these are yellow not white which is what i was wanting but the sheer brightness made me not care.

Glass front seperated from the rest of bulb and shorted out an outdoor lamp. Poor quality, especially considering the bulb was less than a year old.

These bulbs last about 5X longer than a standard bulb- we put them in in all our installations that we can't sell LED's in. It's well worth it not to have angry customers and callbacks when the bulb burns out in 6 months!
