This Intermatic PF1102T timer with thermostat freeze protection control is designed to protect the pool and spa equipment and plumbing against freeze damage. The unit turns the pump and the heater ON when the outdoor temperature reaches the temperature set by the user-adjustable thermostat, which is between 32 F and 45 F.

Installed easily, functions as described. allows me to shut down main pump motor for 12 hours, even when a freeze might occur, saving considerable electricity, This unit turns on the pump if temperature drops below setting and stops when temperature rises.
