This gray finish Intermatic T104R raintight steel case 24-hour dial time switch is designed for industrial, commercial, and residential applications and has the highest horsepower ratings in the industry for loads up to 40 amps, providing direct 24 hour control of most loads. The time switch provides 1 to 12 'ON/OFF' operations each day with minimum ON/OFF times of 1 hour and is ideal for heaters, lighting, and many other applications. This time switch is equipped with one 'ON' and one 'OFF' tripper and is encased in a steel, raintight plastic case for added durability and convenience.

Weatherproofed, steel enclosure & a reliable clock mechanism makes this a good choice for outdoor applications, such as controlling pond aerator motors. However, this is the 3rd such purchase in 4 years, each time replacing a clock whose motor has been destroyed by lightning hitting the pond. It would be an even better outdoor product if there were an integral lightning arrestor.
