I had an electrician tell me to try using 130 volt bulbs for my ceiling fans, since the 120 volt bulbs were going out so fast. He said the 130 volt bulbs have a thicker filament that holds up to the vibrations of a ceiling fan. He was right! But the big box stores don't carry them. I found 1000bulbs.com in a search online. They had them, and I am very pleased with this company and its product.
