Rated 5 out of 5 by Wow! This entire thing is a bulb? Seeing is believing! Our major bathroom gut and redo had to have the most efficient and water tight lighting possible as some were directly over tite shower and hot soak tub. While the price seems high at first, they are a bright warm light that fills the room perfectly. We used 4 spaced equally apart. With the sealed lens and white metal (wide) lip on these bulbs, there is no need for a seperate trim ring. Install these and you can forget about ever needing to change bulbs for many many years. Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent light for over the kitchen sink I was pleased with this light that I bought as an experiment and a way to learn more about LED recessed home lighting. I wasn't sure how many lumens I would need over the kitchen sink but this is just right -- not too bright that It blinds you but plenty bright enough to illuminate all your food prep and dish washing. I'm especially pleased with the color "temperature" 3500K. I can't stand the yellow of "soft white" 2700K. and I was uncertain this LED rated at 3500K would be white enough for my taste. Cree calls this color temperature "halogen white" and that is very close to what it is -- its actually a bit whiter than over the stove halogen lights I have in the same kitchen. Over all, a beautiful light. I don't really understand why its so big and heavy but thats another discussion. September 11, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellant Light This is one of the brightest lights on the market. Once you put in the cans, it's as easy as 1,2,3 and you are done. I put one in my bathroom and one in my kitchen. Both are excellent lights and put out out enough lumens that I would highly recommend these to anyone. June 7, 2011
