These bulbs are outdoors where we have them installed & they hold up really well despite being in the elements. After installing them I had one go bad after less than a week, but the rest are still going strong after months of service. 1000bulbs shipping prices are really high though, so be sure to wait to order until you need multiple pieces. At that point the value gets better and better.
