Rated 5 out of 5 by This is a 6500K Bulb This is a great very bright bulb strong white light but it really shows a 6500K blue hue. I bought this and a 4100K bulb which looks more like a 5000K bulb but if you need a really bright bulb this works but in my opinion it shows too much like a 6500K. April 14, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Product With an Excellent Price I have used these for about 4 months now and really like them. These are color rated at 5000 degrees Kelvin wich is equivelant to sun light. A wise choice if you want to see things as the color they are or take pictures that are not tinted yellow. Another nice feature is that when you flip the switch the bulbs come on dim and reach full brightness in a couple minutes. Nice when you first get up in the AM, you are not blasted by bright light! They are very bright after warm up and the diffused lens leaves very little shadow. I will buy mre of these later. August 22, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 Highest Wattage CFL Floodlight Available I have installed over 40 of these bulbs (and the 2700K Warm White Version) in both base down and base up applications in the last three years. Four have failed so far. They are the highest wattage CFL floodlights I can find. They have a very wide, even light dispersal, wider than halogen and incandescent floods. I have noticed a very faint harmonic buzz from a few of the bulbs, but only those with very sensitive hearing would be bothered by it. These bulbs do require 3-5 minutes to reach full brightness. Rated 5 out of 5 by 5000K Full Spectrum I have been using three of these lightbulbs on a tracklight in my livingroom for the past eight months and love their 5000K full spectrum light. No problems so far. Their quality prompted me to order a set of spares. October 11, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Outstanding light output Purchased these bulbs for overhead use in playroom where quilting is done. Excellent source of bright light. October 6, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Illumination replacement for R40 150 w At first I was not happy with this bulb as it has a high pitched whine at power on, but since I am 60 and my hearing is not as good as it used to be I got quickly used to it. Younger users might find it annoying. Good amount of lumens June 11, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by A purchase well worth it. This product emits pure white light and is amazingly bright. It is ideal for night time activities requiring sharpness of vision as otherwise the eyes tire easily. It saves you a lot on the bills in the long run. It takes a couple of minutes to iluminate fully though. June 10, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 Good daylight CFL I like high temperature high lumen bulbs. I wish they would last longer, though, as the life does not match the manufacturer data. June 6, 2011
