This Mr. Beams MB530 battery-operated, motion sensor step light can be mounted outside or inside. It is perfect for lighting stairs, hallways, decks, patios, or to act as a night light for children. This LED step light features automatic shut-off and a photocell that prevents daytime operation. It requires three 'C' batteries that are not included.

I have used these lights over several years, and will return to them, if they ever wear out. They truly do a great job in lighting a dark outdoor staircase and my basement steps.

This small easy to install battery powered LED puts out more light than any other "stair light" I have owned. It works every time, rain or shine.

Using this light in a hallway just before the stairs.
At night, it trips on via a motion sensor and luminates the steps perfectly!

I mounted these on two sets of stairs leading up to the entrance of are home.They are pretty dark and hard to see.They were easy to mount,lit up when you got within 10'and lasted through the rain ,snow and cold of the winter. Thanks,Chris

I love this sensor light, I use one for coming in or leaving my back entry, lights up in the dark. I also use one on my bottom step of my inside stair case, which is easy to miss in the dark.
