Still the most efficient light source Low Pressure Sodium. Philips lamps are the pioneer in LPS from 1932. I have had the best luck with Philips lamps. I've had Osram, and GE (Thorn) Been using SOX 18,35,55,90 W lamps for decades, work great last long time. Not for making movies pure yellow monochromatic light for security and general outside lighting. Works great.
