This product is just as effective and great quality as name brands. You can't go wrong buying from 1000Bulbs. The only issue I have is that shipping cost is a bit too high. I recommend though is that additional bulbs be carried, like halogen t3 RSC base type bulbs. I want to have a single Go-To-Bulb store for all my lighting needs. I will add that they have great customer service and very fast response to customer e-mails.

I bought my first bulb in 2008 and have been using it like 8-12 hours a day since then. Now some four years later i am only now noticing the end of life symptoms that HPS bulbs display. Diminished output and re-striking when there is a large draw on the circuit. I.E. when the central air comes on the security light restarts.
For the money these are excellent bulbs, in my local hardware store a 70w HPS bulb would cost me $25 after taxes. for that price i could buy 5 of these bulbs and with those kind of saving $10 for shipping is nothing and probably what i would have spent in gas going to the store and back. Good Bulbs and i recommend them.
