Many of the bulbs in the box were very scratched on the silver tip of the bulb, so when the light is on these scratches show. I was very disappointed. Also, these bulbs appear to have a short life span as the first one lasted only a month in a bedroom ceiling fixture which was not on any more than normal. There aren't that many companies making these bulbs, but I would try another manufacturer's before buying from this one again - but would do so if I could not get them somewhere else. My recommendation is very qualified.
