We needed some bulbs that were a little dimmer than the original ones that came with the light fixture. Bought and installed these and found they are just right.

The factory lights that came with my Portfolio fixture (from that improvement place that starts with "L") were WAY WAY WAY too bright. Did I mention they were way too bright? It was like I had a small sun in the room up near the ceiling. It actually hurt to look at the bulbs! So... found these which were lower wattage and much more appropriate since there were 6 bulbs in the fixture. They take a minute to reach full brightness, but a vast improvement in lighting--- not bleaching everything out and requiring sunglasses when in the room. Plus they are lower wattage :) After a year... no problems. Just be careful changing them... grab by the base, and remove any shades first if you can. Those Frankenstein pins grab the base VERY tightly!

The bulbs that came with our ceiling fan were too bright. These bulbs although still a little too bright, were a definite improvement.
The quality is good and I have had no issues with them.

The lightbulb functions as stated... jsut be careful to let those who change out these bulbs bot to turn them like an ordinary screw bulb!.
Delivery was great as usual!
