Fast starting, very bright, not exactly a small energy footprint at 42W but understandable considering its size and brightness. Silent, flickerless.
Color seems fairly true, good enough for our clothes closet and laundry room anyway.

We use this lamp in open exterior fixtures . They are a full spectrum lamp that brightens our exterior tremendously, enhancing our "curb appeal" and raising the perception of safety and security during the night hours. The price is quite competitive and allows for a quicker payback time verses using an energy wasting incandescent bulb. As a bonus, you cannot go wrong with this supplier.
