Two years ago I decided to replace my old light strings & bulbs with all new ones from 1000Bulbs, and these are the bulbs I bought. After 2 Christmases, with the lights burning about 8 hours a night for 3-4 weeks, I have only replaced a couple of bulbs that got broken accidentally. So, these bulbs are holding up very well. Forget the cheap bulbs from the home centers & drugs stores; they don't last, and sometimes those bulbs separate from their bases while you're putting them in.

Some of the 25 lights I purchased stopped working after one evening. About a month into service I have had to replace 20% of the lights.

I've tried using the clear coated bulbs and they just don't seem to give off the color that the frosted ones do. These bulbs look great, nice and bright! Out of the 300 I ordered, only 2 appeared to be defective, so really high quality there!
