I restored this early 1920s chandelier for a room in our 1890s house. Many of the beautiful fixtures from these eras are made to display bare bulbs... a quality that doesn't work so well with the standard (boring) bulbs of today. The shape of these is fabulous with the antique style of the fixture and satin glow was perfect to reduce glare. I've had them for some time now and they're still going gangbusters.
