SYLVANIA LUMALUX is the most advanced HPS technology available. All LUMALUX lamps have a lead-free, borosilicate hard glass outer jacket. LUMALUX/ECO lamps have reduced mercury and are lead free, which may simplify disposal of spent lamps and reduce associated costs. LUMALUX lamps exceed the life of standard HPS lamps by 25 percent, and have a unique positive shutdown feature that eliminates the end-of-life cycling problems common with standard HPS lamps.
