Medium to Medium - Porcelain Extender Socket

Use this medium base to medium base socket extender to extend the socket 1.25 inch. It is rated for a maximum wattage of 660 watts and a maximum voltage of 250 volts. The socket extender is 1.56 inches in diameter and is great for use in tight locations or in fixtures with deep necks.

Product is good - no issues with looks and functionality. One minor issue was that one of them was cracked, even though the packing was pretty good.

I especially looked for the porcelain base. There are some plastic extenders on the market but they do not last like these. They extend the bulbs in the fixture so more light is directed into the room. I would say that these are permanent.

Since it is ceramic, it can handle high power bulbs, which is nice. It's slightly bulky (compared to the plastic version), but works fine. It gets more light from the recessed light out to the room.
