It has a 2-pin GU5.3 base, making installation easy and allowing for an input voltage of 12 volts. Compliant with RoHS standards, this lamp does not contain mercury and is suitable for accent, architectural, hospitality, and recessed lighting.

Replaced all my sealed landscape light mr16 halogen bulbs with this led and it is a great bulb. Nice warm light--not blue at all. Watching my power bill drop like a rock, but this was a big up front investment. Won't be changing bulbs any anytime soon like the halogens.
