Rated 5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Toshiba PAR38 cool while flood 1900 Candlepower I initially purchased two of these PAR38's to test for a church in North Plainfield. My goal was to light up a large mural on the wall and the high ceiling dome overhead. The bulbs passed and I outfitted all the fixtures with the same bulb. The color of mural jumps out at you because of the CRI (86) of the bulb was outstanding. March 28, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Expensive but high quality instant light For my application I need instant on, full brightness and desired good color rendering in 4000k range. CFLs I tried before and couldn't live with the slow warm-up. Might have tried newer instant-on CFLs, but decided to give the newer LEDs a try. Very satisfied but I'll probably wait before going crazy replacing all my existing halogen PAR30/38 can lights for the inevitable price decreases that will come. $54/bulb is still very spendy no matter how much their saving in consumption.
