The Cree CR6 LED downlight is an amazing combination of price and performance, using only 9.5 watts to produce 625 lumens. Building upon the award-winning design of the Cree LR6, the CR6 is a residential LED fixture with commercial grade components. The dimmable LED module replaces a 65 watt incandescent R40 and fits into most 6 inch recessed housings. Cree's patented TrueWhite technology creates warm, white light with nearly perfect color rendering. The Cree CR6 is backed by a 10 year warranty.

It takes longer to walk down to the basement to turn off the circuit breaker than it does to actually install the fixture. These are very bright and very CLEAN appearance after installation. I first replaced the 4 in my kitchen, then was embarrassed about how inadequate and sloppy the regular light bulbs in my living room appeared... so I bought another 8 to install in the living room. I've had no problems using on a dimmer switch. Everybody that sees these in my house is impressed. December 28, 2012
