The Cree LR6-DR1000 retrofit LED downlight uses only 12.5 watts to produce 1000 lumens. Building upon design of the original LR6, the light source of the DR is about an inch deeper into the fixture, shielding the light source and reducing unwanted glare. The dimmable LED module replaces a 100 watt incandescent R40 and fits into most 6 inch recessed housings with the addition of a GU24 adapter. Cree's patented TrueWhite technology creates warm, white light with nearly perfect color rendering, while premium electrical design and thermal management preserve color consistency and light output for the life of the product. The Cree LR6-DR1000 is backed by a 5 year warranty.
