The CFL yellow light blub is a green energy type blub, Not only will this save $ will also keep the bugs away,Only 13 watts of power used to provide plenty of light and will last up to 10,000 hours,416 days 24/7or three and a half years for only night use. Not to shabby uh.

We have 8 lights on around our property at night. We're surrounded by desert so the bugs are drawn to our property from afar. Other bug lights we have tried (CFL and incandescent) seem to attracted almost as many bugs as regular white bulbs. There would be 300 bugs around each bug light at night before your product. To our amazement these yellow CFL bug lights from 1000 Bulbs REALLY work. We now have close to zero bugs around our CFL bug lights at night! Thanks so much! We bought a dozen of these o try and after we saw how well they work we ordered another dozen.

I like these compact fluorescent bulbs for their energy saving quality. Nice that they are now available in a wide variety of colors and wattages.

....I live in tropical florida and this yellow CFW is the PERFECT SOLUTION to my bug problems around my pool. It casts a very pleasing soft yellow glow. I can burn five of these for the same price as one incandescent bulb. Huge huge savings...quality thru and thru...as is the company 1000 Bulbs.com....I couldn't be happy with the product, or the company
