It is becoming very difficult to find 3000k CFL's, especially of the low wattage variety. To my eyes, 3000k is the perfect white light equivalent to soft white incandescent bulbs.
This particular lamp is wonderful. It is white, and it is 25w equivalent. It would be nice if they were a little less expensive, but in this location a 40w or 60w equivalent CFL would be much too bright.
I think I may purchase a couple of spares...
