When you are a fanatic about lighting it's very frustrating to purchase bulbs based on their product description and only find they do not function as stated. Not the case with 1000 Bulbs. My new CFL, R30, 6500K Bulbs are everything stated in the product description. And when they are dimmed down to 2%(amazing, but true) in my recessed fixture it fills the room with a glowing moonlight effect. No other bulb I've tried has accomplished this. The color temperature does not change when dimmed. Love it .

Two of the six bulbs failed after less than 50 hours.
Cusotmer service was very helpful in replacing the bulbs free of charge, and so far they have not failed. But at the present time I could not recommend them.
