Ordered these for our software development room. They are much brighter and the light is much more "daylight" looking than our previous halogens. The dimming is what you would expect from dimmable CFLs...we can probably get to about 30-40% before they start to go out but that works well for us. We had one go out after a month, but 1000Bulbs was quick to issue a credit to my card. Overall, a good experience!

I love the white light that you get with full spectrum. I have 3 of these in the light fixture above my dining room table. They are a little noisy when turned on, but after they warm up the noise goes away. They dim down to about 25% and then go out, but I think I could dim these bulbs lower if I change out the old dimmer I'm using. I trust new technology will allow this bulb to look the same as a 100W incandescent bulb in the future. This bulb is the smallest sized 23W 5000K I could find and it peaks out from the light fixture a little more than I'd like. Other wise I'm totally satisfied with this CFL.

The very high light output (63 lumens/watt) with superior color rendition and bright "daylight" spectrum make this CFL a must-have replacement for medium-based 100w incandescents in nearly all applications where dimming is not essential. The 24 month warranty is icing on the cake.
