8 Watt - Dimmable - LED Light Bulb

Omni-Directional A19 - 2700K Warm White - 400 Lumens - 40 Watt Equal - 120 Volt - Lighting Science DFN19W27V1120

The Lighting Science Definity DFN19W27V1120 LED light bulb casts light from all angles, making it omnidirectional. Rated 4 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5 by If U Have To Buy LEDs This is An OK Choice LEDs are not ready for prime time. Too expensive, poor light output(not 360 degree like incandescents) and confusing info re Kelvin temp and CRI (color rendering index). BUT, if like me, you have light fixtures that are difficult to access and are on for extended periods of time, this is a good choice. My advice re LED lights for general usage is to wait another 2 - 3 years and price, light output and quality will all be much improved. May 4, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Lighting Science DFN19W27V1120, work great for a 40 W equivalent. While these are only 40 watt equivalent they work perfectly. January 6, 2013
