At the color temperature of 4000K, this bulb is a good equalizer, not too cool, not too warm. It's light appearance is easy on the eyes (clean & comfortable) and at the equivalent of the 60 watt incandescent, makes for a great all-purpose LED bulb.

As the cost of LEDs continue to drop, this lamp, though more expensive than many, continues to be an excellent value. Though only rated to replace a 60w incandescent, in 4,100 and 5,000k it produces more perceptable light than a 75w incandescent. We use this lamp almost exclusively in LED A-19 applications with great confidence.
