The Hatch HC226/PS/UV/K compact fluorescent ballast Smart Kit makes ballast replacement simple and easy. In addition to the electronic 26W, 120-277V low-profile ballast, this kit includes color-coded push-in connectors, wires, wire removal tool, and an adapter plate with studs for maximum flexibility. To make things even easier, this ballast can be used in both 1 and 2 lamp applications.

This Hatch CFL ballast is the best one that I have ever used. It is hard to get excited about a ballast, but this one is truly different for all the right reasons. Its bracket is easy to mount, and they even included a couple of extra nuts in the bag. Fortunately, I do not drop many of them, but when I do, I do not have to climb down the ladder to pick them up off of the floor. Also, once the bracket is mounted, the ballast locks in place on the one end and then you just bend two metal tabs to secure it in place on the other end. This has saved me a lot of time. From now on, I will only buy Hatch, because it saves me labor time and costs!
