Rated 4 out of 5 by Wonderful Incandescent Replacement Bulb These bulbs are the perfect replacement for locations where you either see the bulb and/or need truly omnidirectional light. Unlike other "omnidirectional" LEDs that still have a heat-sink base emitting no light, these really do glow just like a frosted incandescent. Indeed, the only gripe I have is the lack of dimming (otherwise these would be in every fixture of my home). January 27, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Bright, but not a true "warm white" A single number for color temperature doesn't represent the spectral signature in enough detail. This bulb is a harsher white than the normal warm white incandescents, halogens and CFLs I've looked at it next to. That said, I'm not the stickler for the "warm white" norm that my wife is. So it's serving well as a porch light, where a CFL is slow to light in cold weather. But she doesn't want it indoors, even prefers the CFLs to it. That said, it's very bright, omnidirectional, and the form factor while a bit larger in scale than a normal bulb of similar lumens, appears normal - certainly better than a CFL or most other LEDs in that regard. Rated 5 out of 5 by No Heat I have Solar Urticaria and have reactions from flouresant lights and even incadesant bulbs so I was looking for an LED bulb that put off a warm light that had the look of a regular bulb. These fit the bill!! They are wonderful!! put off no heat and have a lovely warm light! These bulbs are just a little larger than a regular bulb have not tried in a enclosed overhead light fixture as of yet to see if they will fit. They are a little on the pricey side but if they do last 23 years they will be more than worth it. December 22, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Replacement Incandescent A little longer than standard A19 incandescent, but still a good product. Evenly dispursed light distribution. October 21, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Overall Luminosity I have been searching for an LED lighting product with characteristics that mimic a standard A-19, incandescent lamp, since the lamp is visible in the luminaire. This product fits the bill. Good overall luminosity (not directional like most LED lamps) good color temperature (color rendition, to the eye, was indistinguishable from incandescent), little heat, no IR/UV (lamp is being used in an outdoor fixture and not attracting insects). If it's lifetime is as projected, this is a Win-Win deal all around. June 3, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by enough light, good color Instant on, better light than the curley fry. the light isn't harsh April 28, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by works good Lights in all directions, almost as good as incandescent. Maybe VERY slightly less brightness than incandescent, depending on the lumen rating of the bulb it replaces. April 11, 2012
