I wanted "antique bulbs" that could be hung independently of any shade or covering and I found them here. They arrived in about a week and are just as the description and picture promised. I am very pleased with the service.

I have an antique lamp from 1908 and the only bulb that looks
right is a carbon filament bulb. The bulb has a strange shape
for the filament not like the original loop. In my lamp the
shade hides most of the filament, so it will work for me.

You can't beat the look in a sconce where the filament is visible. Not sure about the longevity of the bulb, since I haven't burnt one out yet. At this price, I'm not sure I mind if it doesn't last the full hours rating. Light output is fine.

With the recent rage for antique bulbs, some really cool new designs have come out. I especially like this one for its hourglass-style filament. I see this bulb design working well in a haunted house this Halloween.

I love this bulb and it looked great in my fixture however it only lasted 3 days of minimal usage before burning out. There is nothing wrong with my fixture as it is currently on. Maybe I just got a bum bulb but I wouldn't recommend it.
