Rated 3 out of 5 by capnhairdo There are far better omnidirectional bulbs out there
I believe this is the single most expensive LED bulb out of the almost dozen different varieties I've now tried. I ponied up for it because it was supposedly dimmable AND omnidirectional. It does an acceptable job of both, but not great. At low dim levels, it just fully shuts off, while a Philips LED and incandescents stay lit. But the most annoying feature is the bright white line around the middle. In our exposed dining room chandelier, it's extremely noticeable.
For a truly omnidirectional bulb that looks like an incandescent (but is not dimmable), the Energy Miser 360-6W-WW is a far better choice.
