TCP's new full spring compact fluorescent light bulbs combine proven TCP performance into a smaller and more efficient design, resulting in better overall lighting performance and long lamp life. All lamps feature end of life circuitry that shuts the bulb off automatically if it senses any lamp starting issues. The ultra high efficiency electronic circuitry optimizes and improves overall system performance and light output, while improved lamp design provides more lighting surface area in a compact space for better light output.

I use these on the airport beacon's obstruction lights. Color is perfect and bright. TCP fit all the FAA qualifications in regards to temp, lumens, color, and operating temperature. Their long life has paid off ny not having to climb the tower every other month to change bulbs, which in turn, makes these bulbs a safer workplace. They also operate in enclosed fixtures, many CFLs do not. Recommended.
