We've switched to all CFL some years ago. Recently we've upgraded to 5000k CFL's. What a difference! In our often cloudy & rainy Northwest, it's nice to have good lights in the house. These are working well.

I have a gallery of hand-blown glass pendant shades, and these really raised havoc with the colors in many of them - turning things much more green and yellow than incandescent or halogen bulbs.. I thought full spectrum would be best, but am going to have to try others to see if they work better.
Fine, though, if color isn't important.
