Rated 4 out of 5 by Not bad I put this bulb into my recessed lighting in my bedroom. The color is not bad, close to the halogens I had previously but brighter. If you look real close, you can notice a slight blueish or white tint to the light. Only on certain surfaces. It is a fairly focused light. I am going to try the R20 bulbs, which I think will be better in the bedroom or for recessed lighting in general. These seem to be good for spotlights. But overall, I liked these lights better than the CFLs I had in other areas of the house. The LEDs are much closer to halogens, and at first glance look nearly identical. April 12, 2013
