I manage a large 6 story building. We are using brighter lighting in several areas and can find 5000K bulbs in a T8. I purchased these to use in coordination with the T8 where the ballasts have not yet been changed. It is economical and the lighting is the same color. Great life saver. Saves the electrician cost to change the ballast before it is needed.

These tubes have good light consistency and are a nice even white. They are brighter than the discontinued SLI tubes we were using. Unfortunately, the glue holding the connectors on the ends of the tubes seems weak. About 1/6 of the tubes had issues with the connectors coming loose and rotating. I have not had this problem with any other fluorescent tubes in the past.
