I purchased white, green and red LEDs for my Christmas display, utilizing my original light string many years ago. Since the bulbs are individual, I appreciate the flexibility of changing out only the ones which have gone out and also having the larger size of the "old fashion" lights while eliminating the higher electrical costs of those older lights.

They are great lights to use. They can be used in the regular C9 stringer. They have the same lighting power as the old C9 non LED lights but at a fraction of the power usage. They are much more durable. With the old C9 bulb, I would probably break 10-20% each year taking them down or putting the up. The LED lights don't break. The also do not peal like the regular C9 lights do so you do not have to replace lights because of fading or pealing. Very good value for the cost.
