Details
Description
Featuring heat-resistant green PVC tubing with warm white bulbs, this 150-foot green rope light spool (13MM-GR-150) is a cost effective way to light a variety of indoor or outdoor applications that require an extremely flexible light source. Using only 4 watts per foot, this high light output rope light is more than twice as bright as the competition. Each full spool is UL listed, however, cutting incandescent rope light spool in the field voids the UL listing.
- Maximum run for this incandescent 120-volt rope light is 150 feet
- Channel raceways are recommended for straight line installations
- Each reel includes 1 molded (pre-attached) power cord
Please note: Plugging rope light in while it is still on the spool will cause it to melt and voids the warranty.

Installation
Continuous flexing of rope light may damage its internal electrical connections. To avoid premature failure, mount rope light to sturdy surfaces such as wood or glass and reinforce it with a channel raceway or reflector trim of the correct diameter.
If you must install rope light on an unstable or moving surface such as trees or bushes, it is most cost-effective to use incandescent rope light, which can be replaced at a lower cost than LED rope light.
Movement of frozen rope lights may also damage electrical connections. Avoid installing or re-spooling rope light when temperatures are below freezing. The PVC tubing can become brittle in temperatures below 50 deg. F.
Please note that cutting this rope light, even following manufacturer instructions, will void the UL listing of the product. This, however, does not necessarily mean the product is unsafe.
If UL listing is an important concern for you or your organization either use the full length of the spool without cutting it or consider purchasing our shorter rope light "kits".
While 1000Bulbs.com encourages all creative use of rope lights, we assume no responsibility for problems arising from cutting rope light. Professional installation is always recommended.
