Osram

One of the world’s leading lighting manufacturers, Osram is headquartered in Munich, Germany and founded in 1919. Their name is derived from the Osmium and the German word for Tungsten, Wolfram. Both elements were originally used as light bulb filaments, giving rise to the name. Osram is a multinational corporation with subsidiaries that develop semiconductors, light bulbs, and lighting controls.
