Rated 5 out of 5 by Best so far When I first bought affordable lower color K cfls, they were not that strong and so I always use a the next size up when converting over. IE I use a 75 equiv. cfl where a 60 watt standard bulb was or 120 Equiv. cfl for 100 watt. That's the only sizes I use. From there on I use from 1-75 clf or 1-120 clf or 2-75 cfl and if I need a lot of light 2-120 cfl. I use 6500k through out my main rooms until the others wear out, because I like the whiter light and my wife likes it for making crafts. She can see the differences in color shades of the thread and materials that she uses. They will sometimes sell this type of cfl as a crafting bulb. March 30, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Good solid preformer Have used this cfl for years now and I dont know how they can make money at it because they almost never need replacement! I use these as isle lights in a very large Automotive museum. Glad I switched from incadesant June 30, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent bulb for plants I bought several of these to use in my indoor greenhouse, and have seen wonderful results. My only complaint is the glass element loosens after a little bit of handling. It doesn't seem to compromise the bulb or the performance, but it was unsettling at first. June 11, 2011
