This type of bulb was recommended by our Home Energy audit person. He indicated that preference of warm versus cool light was a personal choice. We tried cool light, and it seemed darker to us in the kitchen, so we preferred the warm light in kitchen. We'll reuse the cool lights in our hallway when the time comes to replace those lamps.
