These bulbs are very effective, they make everything black light reactive glow beautifully and all for a great price!!! Worked great for black light party.

I was disappointed with this product. The bulb was not the deep purple of a true blacklight, but was a whitish-purplish color. It appears the manufacturer did not want to go to the trouble/expense of installing a true blacklight filter coating on the bulb.
