We had some arrive broken , need to pack better for shipping. As far as the bulb quality , very effective . We replaced 320 w metal halides in a carwash....very pleased and no more expensive ballast or bulbs.

I have four car washes that all had 175W metal halide fixtures, many in need of repair. Instead of replacing expensive ballasts and bulbs, I decided to try these 105W CFLs in one wash. I was so pleased with the results I converted my other three washes within the next couple of months. These bulbs are just as bright as the MH and the light is whiter. The conversion was as simple as throwing away all the guts from the light and run the 120V right to the socket. Now I don't have to deal with the ballast/transformer and the problems with the associated heat they generate. I'm also saving 70 watts on every fixture. 17 months later, I have still not had one burn out. This has been one of the best upgrades I have done. I have nothing but praise for this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Washguy Easy swap out
I installed these in place of 175w and 250w metal halides in wall packs. Light is equal or better than mh, with great electric savings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tech Great replacement for 300 Watt Incandescent Lamps
I used these to replace all 300 Watt incandescent lamps and am very pleased with the result. They use 1/3 the amount of power. Lighting color quality (5,000 K) is whiter and better suited to the location. I don't notice any flickering from the fluorescent lamps. Tthey reach full illuminaiton in littile time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Nate27 Plants prefer the 42 cfl light
My tomato plants did much better with a couple of 42 watt cfl bulb than with one of these 105 watt bulb.
Plus they are huge you need an adapter to use them.
